Red Hot Chili Peppers: du nouveau sur Stadium Arcadium

Le 8 ou 9 mai prochain, les Red Hot Chili Peppers sortiront un double album de 25 pistes, Stadium Arcadium, actuellement en fin de mixage avec Ryan Hewitt et Andrew Schepps. L'album (toujours produit par Rick Rubin) est décrit par le chanteur Anthony Keidis comme "un album pesant mais émotionnellement pesant avec beaucoup de belles mélodies".

Parmi tous les titres de ce 9° opus: Snow, Animal Bar, Wet Sand, Charlie, Desecration Smile et Hard To Concentrate, c'est Dani California (nom familier pour les fans du groupe) qui en sera le single.
A propos de Dani, Anthony Keidis expliquait à NME.com: "She makes a new and more profound appearance on 'Stadium Arcadium'. It's kind of the last chapter of this young girl's life, but it speaks of a cultural death on the west coast of the USA, a certain death and a rebirth in a way, out with the old, in with the new, from specifically the state we hail."

Des concerts en intérieur sont prévus en Europe dès le printemps.
